Low-cost Counselling/Student Rate
In an effort to provide counselling services to more clients of all economic means, Ivy Counselling & Consulting offers reduced rate/student rate to clients in need. The counselling services are provided by master-level counsellors in-training and are not covered under extended health insurance. Please contact us for more information.
Individual Counselling
Individual counselling service is for children, youth, and adults, provided by Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), which can be covered under extended health insurance.
Parenting Support
This is for existing child/youth client's parent(s)/major caregiver(s) only. Parenting support sessions aim to increase self-awareness, enhance communication skills, and develop effective parenting strategies, promoting a supportive home environment that complements your child's therapeutic process.
Couple Counselling
Our couple counselling service is to address communication issues, attachment-related issues, recurring conflicts and argument, disconnection and lack of intimacy, insecurity and trust issues, infidelity and betrayals, impact of trauma, life transitions, parenting issues, etc. The usual setting of couple counselling will include an intake assessment process and following treatment sessions, with potential homework in-between sessions. The intake assessment process is recommended to be one 50-min joint session, and 50-min individual session for each partner. Family Counselling
Our family counselling service addresses communication struggles, attachment issues, recurring conflicts, disconnection, and the impact of trauma. We also support families navigating life transitions, parenting challenges, and trust issues among family members, including but not limited to guardian(s)/parent(s) and children. The typical setting of family counselling will include an intake assessment process and following treatment sessions, with potential homework in-between sessions. The intake assessment process is recommended to be one 50-min joint session, and 50-min individual session for each family member. Trauma Therapy Intensive
Trauma Therapy Intensives are particularly helpful for addressing trauma (PTSD) and complex trauma (CPTSD).
ICBC Counselling
We provide direct billing to ICBC so that clients don't need to pay by themselves.
CVAP Counselling
We provide direct billing to CVAP (Crime Victim Assistance Program) so that clients don't need to pay by themselves.
FNHA Counselling
We provide direct billing to FNHA (First Nations Health Authority) so that clients don't need to pay by themselves.
